This is a must go to place, if your new to Spokane or visiting you have to go here. Great food quality and very consistence. Everything on the menu is awesome. A++

If you are in the mood for a burger.... and I don't mean some fast food slopped together too small to satisfy and looks nothing like the picture thing... I mean a real freshly cooked all beef and so savory just thinking about it makes your mouth water burger... GET OVER HERE! Top it with the freshly fried onion rings and prepare your taste buds to be amazed!

The food was fantastic! I got chicken strips and fries and my wife got the Scotsman burger. The people there are nice and great. Food took a bit longer, but could've been due to the COVID lift. But way worth the wait. A must go, local place!

My family has been going to Thrifty Scotsman for over twenty years now. We have had so many wonderful memories there. What once was just a good eat has now become tradition. We LOVE Thrifty Scotsman and always will.

Just moved here in February and haven't been able to really try places, the girl who cut my hair recommend this place and it was A+ great bacon cheeseburger and onion rings were great. Good milkshakes also definitely will come back, highly recommend

Wonderfully delicious. A Spokane Valley staple. I recommend anyone visiting the inland northwest should stop in and try a super bacon burger or their fish and chips.

I/We have been dining at the Thrifty Scotsman since it first opened in 1980. The food is great, service is outstanding and the employees have always been polite and friendly. Prices are fair, food is hot (including fries) and the shakes are thick and rich. The Thrifty Scotsman is our place to go where we can count on a tasty burger and a consistent hello from either Floyd, Karla, Kevin and Eric behind the counter. For those who refuse to where a mask when entering I would suggest you turn around and go elsewhere and please do not return. It is a simple request. Let's keep everyone safe. Thank you to the Brown family for making our dining experience memorable and pleasant.

Love the sandwiches and shakes. My husband always gets the fried chicken sandwich and it's always bomb. The onion rings are top notch and the service is always friendly. The fish and fries was disappointing however. The fish was dry and bland and the fries were soggy. We did go through the drive thru and had a 15 minute drive home but I had to put the fries in the oven to cook them more.

Great place, and friendly staff! The food is really good here, and it has it's own taste and style, which I like! I had a chicken sand which that tasted great, only complaint is that the sand which came kind of smashed. Other than that, I would definitely recommend if you want something a little different!

(cornavirus time) drive through- a guy came out gave us a menu and took our order. I added extra tomatoes and other things. It wasn't cheap but it was quality food fast food place. Exceptional employees. Food was really good. Highly appreciated. Never been there before but it won't be my last time. Thank you. Good eats. Good sized portions for those of you who want your money's worth. 💓

Excellent food and service. While waiting in the drive-thru somebody came out and took everyone's order so by the time we got to the window our food was ready.

The Cheese Burger and fries were great. The onion rings needs help. The staff were friendly. When I return to Spokane WA I will eat at the Thrifty Scotsman Drive In. Great place for Burgers.

Been going here for a few years and it never disappoints. The food tastes great and really captures that old school burger joint that you used to get together with your friends before a night out on the town or just to enjoy each other's company. I would say it's muscle car and hotrod themed with some nice photos. They recently upgraded their seating (being a skinny guy my butt thanks you!) and did some sprucing up making it feel more alive. I would go there more often if I lived closer but it's definitely worth the drive from downtown Spokane.

Great food 😋 they were super nice and I can't say enough about the food I had the Scotsman burger it was amazing. Good for family as it has a nice seating are as well as some old school arcade machines.

The Thrifty Scotsman is a Spokane icon, and for good reason. Compared to other local hamburger restaurants they are less expensive for similar food. My lunch of a good sized bacon burger with all the fixins, large onion rings, and coffee set me back under $11. The staff are fast and friendly, and the seating comfortable in a 50's style surrounding. If in the area and in the mood for a good diner burger I would stop here again.

Thrifty has been a favorite of mine for nearly 20 years now. You'll find pretty much everything good about a "mom and pop" operation here

This place is great. I love the atmosphere and the staff are nice.The food is great and it's cheap. It's like a classic greasy spoon but it's clean inside if a little crowded.The burgers are just that classic taste of salt, beef and grease fried. It's so good. Fries are just amazing and cooked to perfection. Give this place a shoot. It won't disappoint.

The food is delicious and heart warming, yes heart warming in a comfort food kinda way. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are very big. Try splitting fish and chips or a double bacon burger.The staff is amazing and friendly and the wait is minimal, even when they are busy.

This place is by far the best burger joint in the valley if not Spokane. Been going there since high school, prices have gone up slightly, but food is damm worth it! If you have never been there and like burgers and fries, this place is a must GO! Great old style feel, staff is awesome, food is great and highly recommended.
